As a nice change of pace this project was offered up as a job interview process.

The aim was to show how great design can offer up a whole new life for an ageing population.

Taking care to focus on what the individual needs and how their space works for them.

In this space they key was to keep the kitchen as accessible as possible. This project was focused around the clients personal and family life with a growing bunch of grandchildren to encompass as well as space for their own hobbies the home needs to match functionality and style. There are no rules to say that your home has to reflect your age. With a long history of travelling and a love of cultural art this space had their story to keep on telling.

Terracotta walls paired with a dark ceiling and some bright accent colours really helped to highlight the rich life Roger & Gillian have lived and continue to expand.

"This project was a perfect change of pace after ones before. The time scale was much stricter and there was an abundance of freedom when it came to colours and spacial planning. I would love to do it all again!"
