Guest Room

A client approached me about a spare room they wanted to bring new life to now their children has moved out.  The idea was to create a relaxing place for guests but to also make room for a part time yoga space.

"I found this project a whole lot of fun! I was pulling paint samples out my ears once the wallpaper was chosen and the fun didn't stop there!

The back wall was the main focus of this space but I wouldn't leave the other walls too white without feeling cold and neglected. Its very popular right now to include these simplistic shapes on the wall to add in some interest and with a space as bright as this one I didn't want to miss my chance to give it a go."

There was plenty of room for fun when it came to the colour palette involved in this design. The tropical wallpaper offered up a choice of accent colours from with: Mustard, Rose Pink & Moors Green where pulled onto the walls in a variety of shapes. These pops of colour work amazingly when trying to frame photos across a wall or even to make a small corner just a tad more interesting.
